Memberships, Licenses, and Accreditation SSL maintains

The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) has duly examined and found SSL to comply with the standards for accreditation of ACCET and accepts the responsibility to maintain a high level of quality and integrity.
Active members of TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) and NAFSA (National Association of Foreign Student Affairs), and authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students by SEVP.

To provide quality intensive English language instruction that offers students an opportunity to enter into an American college or university for continued training or for personal and/or professional enrichment.

To achieve this mission, SSL has identified these six goals:

1. Foster an educational environment that cultivates an appreciation of the American language and culture.

2. Lead students to acquire an active-learning strategy by providing individualized instruction through a variety of skills, content areas, and levels of instruction.

3. Uphold our commitment to having a diverse student community while offering policies that hold students accountable to high academic standards.

4. Engage and retain administrators and faculty that enhance a collaborative work environment to support the school’s student-centered academic environment.

5. Network services to our students that help them to take full advantage of their stay in the United States.

6. Teach seriously committed students who desire to be fluent in the English language.
