You’re Almost There – Just One More Step!

We’re excited to have you nearing the final stage of the application process!

The last step involves completing a placement test through Microsoft Office Forms. Here’s how to begin:

    1. Log In with Your SSL Account: Our admin team will provide you with an SSL account. Your username will look like this: FirstName20@ssl.edu.
    2. Set Your Password: After logging in, you’ll be prompted to set a new password. Make sure to remember it as this is your official SSL account.
    3. Two-Factor Authentication (Optional): You’ll be asked to add your phone number for two-factor authentication. This is optional, so feel free to skip it if you prefer. If you decide to add your number, keep in mind that you’ll be asked to verify your identity via text or call whenever you log in from a new device. Make sure your phone is within reach!

Important Reminder: If you’re automatically logged into a different email account on your browser, you may encounter an issue accessing the test. In that case, you can open an incognito/private window (Ctrl + Shift + N for Windows or Command + Shift + N for Mac) to continue.

What is the Placement Test About?

The test is designed to evaluate your English proficiency

Please avoid skipping entire test, or using any third party tools during the test to ensure an accurate assessment.

If you get too low or high score, and placed at the wrong level, we can NOT change it unless you take the test again (upon Academic staff’s approval only).

Good luck, and we can’t wait to move forward with you in the application process!
